the conscious dater

This program is for women who have done a tremendous amount of work on themselves — years in therapy, a mountain of self-help books, a career that rewards them for exactly this kind of effort — and are still single, still wondering if they've run out of time to build the family and life they want.

My clients are educated, self-aware, and professionally accomplished. There's a lot about their lives they love. But underneath the competence is a longing for a partner they rarely say out loud — because admitting it feels like it contradicts everything else they've built.

If this sounds familiar:

  • You told yourself "I was just focused on my career" — but if you're honest, work was also the one place that never rejected you. It rewarded you. Promoted you. Chose you, every time.

  • You had, by every external measure, a good childhood — and still feel a quiet grief you can't quite justify, because you had so much.

  • You're the one who holds it all together — for your team, your friends, your family — and have no idea how to do that for yourself.

  • Some version of that seventh grader who never got asked to the dance is still running the show, and she's convinced you that wanting someone out loud is dangerous.

  • You've built a life around not needing anyone, and it's working — until it isn't, at 2am, when you wonder why everyone else got chosen, and you didn't.

  • You assume that if you finally meet someone, you'll have to settle — because the men who show up easily have never felt like the ones worth staying for.

  • You loathe the apps, can't imagine meeting someone there, and also have no idea how you'd meet someone anywhere else.

  • You're not sure you'd even know how to receive a relationship if it arrived — the caretaking, the giving, the doing — that part you have down. Being met is the foreign part.

This program is designed to serve you.

My new relationship is a true testimony to the fact that working with Clara was an invaluable experience for me. I could not recommend it more to anyone who has struggled with dating and relationships. With so much terrible dating advice out there, Clara has such a unique and thoughtful approach that is not to be missed.

It's like you're an optometrist: I didn't know how limiting some of my beliefs were until, lens by lens, you guided me to improved clarity.  I see the world for what it is (still have astigmatism - still need the nudges).  AND continuing to do the work so that I can drive safely sounds so deep and rich and good.

I’ve run my practice for eight years.

I bring a tremendous amount of integrity to my work. I care deeply about my client’s evolution and ability to experience the things they so deeply want. If that’s something you’re curious about, let’s chat.

A woman with wavy light brown hair and light skin sitting outdoors against a wooden fence, wearing a black dress with ruffled sleeves, smiling gently with her head tilted slightly to her right.

Clara has been a gift I wish I could bestow on any woman who finds herself adrift from where she wants to be and needs support to define her goal and actually get there. For the first time in the last eight years, I am actually excited and optimistic about my future.

I had worked with therapists and life coaches before working with Clara. Either there wasn’t a great connection to support vulnerability and trust, or I felt criticized for some of the things I knew I needed to work on. Often I felt like I was talking at a nodding head with empathetic eyes.

Clara is so different. She creates a safe, welcoming and shared space so that I can and want to share everything I am (especially what I’m afraid to share). The multi-modal approach of journaling, voice messages and coaching sessions makes vulnerability, reflection and discovery accessible and substantive. The podcasts, books, exercises and journaling prompts she weaves into our work together feel intelligent and tactical.

She tells me what I need to hear in a way I need to hear it.
